Custom acrylic speed painting of animal
Why not buy a personalised custom painting of your pet or favourite animal in acrylics on a 7x5 canvas (mountboard)?
I tend to do these paintings as a speed painting to keep the brush strokes feeling fresh and loose. This means that the paintings can be done quite quickly depending on demand and workload, meaning you do not have to wait weeks for the finished product (again this might differ if demand is high).
You would need to supply a photo to work from, this is the important bit!
Please make sure to provide the best possible image of your pet/animal, following these simple steps will ensure this is possible.
1: Try to photograph your pet in good lighting - so outside on a sunny day would be best
2: Photographing your pet outside but with YOUR back to the sun is a must. Do NOT photograph your pet with the sun behind them, your pet will be dark against the bright sun background. Also try not to cast a shadow over your pet.
3: Make sure your pet is not tiny in the landscape/background. Take a photo quite close up so that the eyes and features are visible.
4: A blurry photo is a bad photo to work from, guessing what is there is not the way to paint a good painting.
5: Finally if your pet is no longer with us, bless its beautiful soul, try and find a photo where the pet is close to the camera not in the distance and preferably with good lighting if possible.
