Demonstration at Ulverston Society of Artists

I have recently done a demonstration at a local Society I am a member of.  I think it was the first demo of oil pastels the society has had and I was keen to show them that oil pastels are a great stand alone media.  As aposed to using it as a resist or part of a mixed media piece combined with acrylic for example.

They are very affordable and great fun to use,  I treat them like a pastel pencil apart from them going on much thicker, bold in colour and layerable.  Here is my demo photos and the final piece scanned of a French Bulldog
