On 27th August 2023, I will have a stall with some of my work on display, this is taking place at Ford Park, Ulverston. This has been postponed from today the 23rd July due to the constant rain with most exhibitors being outside it was unfair to for them to be put under that torture haha. Please share if you are interested and for more information follow the links below. I will have prints of a variety of sizes from collections of work like, animals, landscapes, cars and pop icons. I will also have some original work see below.

I have new prints available of recent work completed including Newfoundland dogs. Why not check them out on my eBay page listings at https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/cuzza-can_designs
I have a large range of prints available of different subjects in 7x5 inch, 10x8 inch and 16x12 inch sizes. There are a few originals for sale on there too! Below are a few prints you can buy. It has been a few years since I last changed the look of the site so I thought I would give it a make over. All the content is still here, with some interesting extras of new work and exciting events to look forward to in the coming year. I hope you like the new site, here are a few things I have been working on recently. For the most up-to-date news or work I am producing follow me on Instagram: posts are displayed on the right of this post, which you can click on to see my Instagram account. Otherwise you can search AC-SPaintings on the app.
I am currently working through a number of commissions, which I can't show yet but in between these I am doing little 7x5 inch 45 minute acrylic sketches. Let me know your thoughts on the site and the new work either here or on Instagram. As a member of the Association of Animal Artists, I am privileged to be able to exhibit in various exhibitions up and down the country each year. At the moment there is an exhibition with some amazing work on show, at Weston Park, Shifnal, Staffordshire? near Telford. If you are in the area either traveling or living close to, why not pop along and have a look.
The exhibition is on til the 29th Sept. Here are some examples of work being hung. I have also included my own work too, 3 pieces are hung on the walls and two are mounted prints (German Shepherd and Brown Border Collie) Finished this painting, though this version is not the finished article, thought I would share a sneak peek. This could be making it in to my solo exhibition in October. Along with 19 other pieces. Exciting times
I have finally broken up from work for the summer, I am off to Europe for 9 days on a road trip of Amsterdam, Dortmund and Brussels. I hope the photos and studies I do whilst out there will inspire me to create some interesting architectural pieces of work that takes my art and techniques in a different direction. Who knows they may feature in my Solo exhibition this October.
The rest of the summer will allow me to soak up the sun and vitamin D (if the weather holds out) and a hell of a lot of art work planned to give me more of a headache when choosing what to exhibit in the exhibition. I have a few pieces planned to be submitted and hopefully exhibited in the Lakes Artists Summer Open Exhibition and the annual Milnthorpe exhibition happening in the next few weeks. I will be hoping to exhibit in the Association of Animal Artists exhibition too from 31st August to 27th September at Granary Art Gallery, Weston Park, Shifnal. I will be doing a lot more of these little 7x5 inch acrylic sketching on surplus mountboards, in the effort to make some looser work, increase my skills and quicken my ability to paint up. This year marks my first solo exhibition, later this year in the Autumn, October. I originally thought it was lat Autumn 2017 and was relieved to hear I had more time to prepare for it and create some more work, haha. I am looking forward to exhibiting but I am aware I have to produce more work to be able to select the best pieces to be hung. The venue will be at The Coach House Cafe and Bistro, Ford Park, Ulverston. I believe I can hang up to 30+ pieces depending on the size of work. I already have a large body of work to display but I don't feel that some are up to standard and/or I wish to show new unseen work. So the next 6 months will be busy for me. I will be showing some of the work as I finish it but others will be kept secret for the exhibition preview evening. Before then I have various other exhibitions which I will be producing work for and hope to sell in the mean time. I have a couple of pieces in the pipeline including this, The Association of Animal Artists Annual exhibition at Castle Park Arts Centre in Frodsham, Cheshire has my Peacock piece used as the supporting image in advertising. Oh it looks so regal! Can't wait for the event and to see all the lovely work and artists who created them in a few months time.
Since the success of the demo at Ulverston I then moved on to Barrow Society of Artists. I have demo'd oil pastels to once again spread the awareness of oil pastels as a stand alone media to the members of the Barrow society. I think from the dozen or so pieces I have created since discovering oil pastels qualities, they have become my current favourite media to use. I have done another Dog for the demo and this is the resulting image minus the projector setup.
I decided to introduce the pink and purples from the previous demo in to this as I thought they complimented the blue and had never thought of using either before doing both demos. I have recently done a demonstration at a local Society I am a member of. I think it was the first demo of oil pastels the society has had and I was keen to show them that oil pastels are a great stand alone media. As aposed to using it as a resist or part of a mixed media piece combined with acrylic for example.
They are very affordable and great fun to use, I treat them like a pastel pencil apart from them going on much thicker, bold in colour and layerable. Here is my demo photos and the final piece scanned of a French Bulldog |
